Kyunghyang Housing Fair is currently one of the professional building materials and decoration exhibitions in Korea. The exhibition was founded in 1986 by E-Sang Networks and has been successfully held for 30 sessions. In 2016, Kyunghyang The Housing Fair will be combined with SEOULBUILD, the 23rd Seoul Construction and Decoration Exhibition held by Homdex. Since then, the exhibition will become the largest building materials and decoration materials exhibition in Korea, co-sponsored by E-Sang Networks and Homdex. Co-organizers include the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport, Ministry of Industry, Trade and Resources, Ministry of Environment, Agency for Procurement (Public Procurement Service), Small and Medium Enterprise Office, Forestry Office, Energy Management Corporation, Seoul Special City, Gyeonggi-do, Goyang City, KOTRA, South Korea Land and Housing Public and Private, Gyeonggi Urban Public and Private, Korean Architects Association, Korean Construction Association, Korean Construction Management Association, Korean Specialized Construction Association, Korean Housing Association, Korean Refractory Building Materials Association, Korean Green Building Council, Korean Flat Glass Industry association.
The exhibition was recognized by the Ministry of Industry, Trade, and Energy of Korea as the "Representative Brand Exhibition of the Republic of Korea". The exhibition was also appointed as the representative of MKE (Department of Knowledge Economy) by the local government and other related industries.
