New Zealand international building materials and interior decoration exhibition BUILDNZ DESIGNEX has a leading position in New Zealand's construction and building materials industry trade exhibitions. It has a history of more than 20 years and is also the largest building materials exhibition in New Zealand. Designex is New Zealand's most important trade exhibition integrating interior design, decoration and lighting. Since 2003, it has been jointly held with the building materials exhibition building. According to forecasts, there is a gap of 13,000 new houses in Auckland every year compared with demand. It is predicted that by 2020, only government-supported Auckland housing construction projects will add 10,000 units per year, which will effectively alleviate the current tight supply and demand. In the next three years, the investment in Auckland's transportation infrastructure projects is expected to reach as much as 4.2 billion, including the Auckland Metro Project and the East-West Road Link Project.
